The Museum of Islamic Art in Doha

Islamic Art Museum in Doha

The Museum of Islamic Art, Doha is a really inspirational building. The exceptional quality of the building design, location and the positioning of the Museum as a catalyst for the development of Doha as a cultural and educational center of excellence demonstrate the vision and commitment of the State of Qatar to the international cultural/museums sector.

An amazing piece of architecture................... the way it looks like a woman in an abaya from all angles is fantastic......wonderful......... inside isn't too bad either. Definitely worth a look as is all of Doha.............
Islamic Art Museum in Doha

My husband and me enjoyed visiting this museum and we thought that one day is not enough to thoroughly go thought all the items displayed. However, I would have loved to see more items displayed from other Islamic countries because the items displayed were mainly from Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey.

This museum is an incredible credit to Islam. Featuring many pieces spanning from Spain to China. I am as Muslim feel proud and happy, it was captured by the powerful atmosphere here. The Royal Family of Qatar has out done themselves with this masterpiece. Plus the entrance is free, which just adds to the justice of the history amassed here.

Just visit.................it
