Go fly a Boeing 777 Simulator at Villaggio Mall Doha Qatar

iPilot’s new flight simulator and co-pilots at Villaggio mall
iPILOT has brought Qatar’s first Boeing 777 flight simulator to Doha, providing an opportunity for people to experience flying a Boeing 777 first-hand at the Villaggio mall.

With no experience required, the flight simulator allows anyone from six years to fly a large passenger jet accompanied by a trained co-pilot. People can now learn how to fly a plane, perform turns, climb, descend and navigate to their chosen airport anywhere in the world.
During the simulation, you can take off from any airport of choice and climb up to 29,000ft and descend over the world’s favourite airports such as Heathrow, the challenging Hong Kong Kai Tak airport and St Maarten in the Caribbean.

“This concept provides new opportunities for corporate events, evening entertainment, school excursions and group events in Qatar,” commented Fabian Bloos, manager of iPilot Doha.
“You can take off from Doha International Airport; fly over the major landmarks of the city before landing back at the airport. You can also fly to and from any of the 24,000 landing strips at the airports around the world,” said Bloos.

Wolfram Schleuter, founder and CEO of iPILOT said: “I have been a private pilot for many years and really wanted to get other people to experience the joy and overcome the fear of flying. I am very thankful to Sheikh Meshaal bin Fahad A M al-Thani and Sheikh Abdullah bin Fahad al-Thani for their generous contributions in getting this project started and running successfully.”

The duration of the flight experience is from 15 minutes (QR199) to 90 (QR 899) with options of 30 (QR 349) to 60 (QR 649) minutes in the flight simulator. The simulator will be open daily to customers from 10am to 10pm at Villaggio Mall. iPilot offers discounts of 20% to children under 16 years old.
In celebration of the launch of iPilot, a 25% discount will be offered from March 10-17 for adults wanting to try the simulator.

iPilot is currently available in London, Munich, Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Prague with upcoming locations later in the year in Dubai, Turkey, Zurich and Frankfurt.
It was founded in 2009 by Schleuter, a German entrepreneur and amateur pilot.
iPilot flight simulators are located in shopping malls and passenger terminals at airports in major international cities.

The first iPilot location to open was at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, in June 2009. It was followed quickly by the branch at the Westfield London Shopping Centre in November 2009. European expansion got underway in November 2010 with the opening of the iPilot flight simulator in Terminal 2 of Munich Airport and continued in 2011 with the opening of the Dresden location.
