Open show heating up the Motor Show

Cars drifting as part of the outdoor show at the Qatar Motor Show yesterday. The show opened for the public from yesterday.
A crowd of thousands ran to the Qatar Motor Show 2012 at the first public day yesterday to marvel at the wheel on the screen and experience what many have seen on their screens: the machine on wheels to maneuver unthinkable.


2012 Qatar Motor Show got underway on January 23 with two open days for local and international press and trade professionals, making the opening day of the first show as far as the public - an estimated 20,000 of them flocked to the Doha Exhibition Centre - is concerned.

"It's exciting to see events like this in Doha! I've never seen before drift racing and I found it really exciting! And it shows that Qatar is able to compete at the international level," says Megan O'Connor, a resident of Qatar for six years.
Visitors also have the opportunity to test drive their favorite vehicles in the area adjacent trials.
Inside the exhibition space, the motor show continues to serve as a crystal ball for all things cars, as the visitors took the opportunity to closely see the vehicles on display, asking about their specifications, and engage in general chat about automotive.


"I am delighted to be here. The place had a big thrill," said first-time visitor, Mary, a citizen of Qatar for four years.
Beginning on January 23 (Monday), six-day event features the latest car models, concept cars, super cars and futuristic car from the center of the most innovative style and design of the car and serves as the foundation for a number of never-before-used in vehicle areas to be viewed as a model of the series on the road soon.
Qatar Motor Show is also hosting a classic car, motorcycle, and car service providers. This event takes place from 16:00 to 22:00 today, while revenue at the end of this week are 13:00 to 10:00.
