Panto is set to captivate audiences

 
 


Curtain going up on the night of yearly Doha Players Mime, as an amateur performer of all ages and national would take to center stage in 'Puss in Boots "for the next three nights.

The event will be held tonight, tomorrow and Friday nights, and Friday and Saturday evening in Doha British and Montessori School.The pantomime was directed by the Doha Players, Peter Phillips and Celia Ward, and promises to be another fun event for the whole family.Featuring a young people in the choir, play tells the story of Peter (Iona Gibson) and his research for the love of Princess (Holly Steele), who introduced him to the amazing talking cat, Puss (Raelene Dufresne), and various other characters easy to remember in along the way, including horrific and cowardly Crushbones the Ogre (Muge Ozbey). Comedy brought to show by Miss Fanny Fifth funny from Arcadia (Christopher Churchouse) and Hector brilliant and Casper, and spots. The traditional pantomime characters appear throughout, as the mother elf (Gill Hope) and there are numerous opportunities for audience members shouting, singing, boo, hiss and say "he is behind you!" The event was also feature a number of famous songs, from modern songs such as "billionaire" to classics such as "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," to make sure that there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
